THIEVES

Thieves
video of scenes from the San Francisco International Arts Festival 2012  (premiere)

While pursuing clarity an inner conflict arises
where one can get engulfed by will or despair
drowning in either of these extremes
a terrifying path is revealed

Thieves is a collaboration between choreographer Leyya Mona Tawil and composer Lars J. Brouwer. Together with dancers Jeremiah Crank and Isabelle Sjahsam, they create a dynamic landscape containing real time composition, relying on bi-directional communication between sound and choreography.
